futures showed rapid growth

On Thursday at the futures market witnessed rapid growth, the activity of participants was above average. Trading volume on FORTS was 62.8 billion rubles. Before the end of the week and months ofbig players are actively pulled the market up. RTS Index gained 2.8%, its futures rose by 4.8%. Spread sharply decreased from -27 to -7 points.

Gazprom futures added 5.1%. The reduction of open positions at 2.4% showed partial nerve closing short positions near the end of auction.

In Futures Lukoil number of open positions on the contrary, increased by 2%. Quotations gaining 5%. On Thursday, the market options for experienced RTS building positions in put options at 600 and 900 points. The implicit volatility of options on these страйках demonstrated a tendency to rise, reflecting fears about among the players. Also, participants built up positions in the call at 1 200 points. In the options Gazprom continued active trading in call options. Particularly strong growth was observed at 200 rubles (1 700 contracts for Thursday, and 11 000 contracts for the 5 trading sessions). In Sberbank increased positions in put options on the level of 32 rubles. The evening session brought a new wave of optimism to the flash market. Contracts for the RTS added 1.8% against a background of positive dynamics of American playgrounds.

On Friday at 16:30 publishes data on U.S. GDP in the second quarter. Market participants expect to decline 0.7%.
