Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko said that in recent years, strategic relations between Ukraine and the United States is constantly being strengthened. During the meeting the Head of State noted the strategic nature of bilateral relations and reaffirmed in the Charter of the United States-Ukraine strategic partnership in December 2008.

Yushchenko assured the promotion of Ukraine in an irreversible way democracy and progress of democratic political and economic reforms. I am satisfied with the internal processes that have occurred in the past four years. We have the fundamental right, we have realized the democratic right of choice - he emphasized.
