Guide Naftogaz Ukraine holds constructive talks with the leadership of Gazprom on the accounting impact of the global economic crisis on the consumption of natural gas to Ukrainian consumers.

This is stated in the NAC statement issued by her press-service. Naftogaz stresses that Russia is sympathetic to the existing objective economic difficulties in Ukraine and is ready to find solutions parity between the parties. In addition, the part of Russia did not hear any statements on the possibility of applying penalties to the company as a result of breach of contract on natural gas supplies to Ukraine.

At the same time, NAK Naftogaz of Ukraine pays attention, that time, in full and own funds each month is calculated by Gazprom of Russia's gas supplied to Ukraine. Thus, according to the Supreme Arbitrage of Ukraine, for 7 months of 2009 revenues from sales of NAC were 60.3 billion UAH. However, the company has taken loans to 7 billion 965 million UAH, and had paid 12 billion 424 million UAH. Thus, loans (including those who allegedly were obtained on the basis of emission) in no way could be used to buy foreign currency, on the contrary - the company sent 4.5 billion UAH of its proceeds to repay loans.

Therefore, all costs for natural gas this year (including injection into underground reservoirs) have been implemented at the expense of operating income (revenue) company that as of August 1, 2009 amounts to 47.8 billion UAH. Thus, NAK Naftogaz of Ukraine , despite the difficult political and economic conditions, provides a constant and uninterrupted operation of the Ukrainian gas transport system as part of the Eurasian gas transport system, the statement said NAC.

In this regard, the company appealed to all politicians and senior officials from Ukraine's request not to politicize the situation surrounding the activities of Naftogaz and provide maximum assistance to the regime the company's work for a stable passage of the autumn-winter period and to ensure energy security. Any statement by Ukraine could harm the constructive course of the negotiation process between the two economic entities on the conditions of supply of natural gas to Ukraine, - said in the statement of Naftogaz Ukraine .
