"We were not able to convince RIM within two years of trials that need to reach a reasonable settlement. He said that disputes over the licensing agreement were conducted in the period from 2003 to 2007. Motorola and RIM already appealed to the courts, where each accusing his rival of violating the patent agreements. Furthermore, RIM argued that Motorola inhibits recruitment company laid off from Motorola employees.
