The fact that the National Commission Electricity Regulation (NERC) may sell at auction is not the whole amount of electricity for export, and divide it into lots, said the president of NAC Energy Company of Ukraine (NAK EKU) Vladimir Zinevich.

This year will be sold 100 MW of power section. The next year sales will occur in two stages: in January - 200 MW per year, another 300 MW - a monthly basis since February, - said Mr. Zinevich. According to him, this order will soon be approved by NERC, as last Thursday agreed to the meeting in the Ministry of Fuel. This procedure, according to Mr. Zinevich, will diversify risks and improve control of sales.

According to the Fuel and Energy Ministry, from January to July, Ukraine exported 1.8 billion kWh of electricity, which is 57,8% less than in 2008.
