Chairman of the National Bank Anatoliy Guley Oschadny assesses the technical re-equipment of the structural units of the bank to counter the robbery in the 1 billion hryvnia.

This he said in an interview with the publication of Business.

To meet all the requirements of the National Bank of Ukraine on technical strengthening of the office of the bank, we need to spend an additional 1 billion hryvnia - he said.

Guley said that in times of crisis, such costs are too high.

The banking system is not prepared to defend themselves from attack in times of crisis, - he said.

Chairman of the Board Oschadbank critically evaluated the actions of law enforcement agencies to prevent attacks on the structural units of banks.

Law enforcement authorities have reacted to the situation. In addition to hysterics, no real steps to prevent attacks there, - noted Guley.

According to him, the bank intends to establish a new model for the protection of offices, ranging from protecting their own, and with the involvement of law enforcement agencies.

On the one hand protection of the branches will be arranged directly on its own or throughlaw enforcement, but on the other - will be implemented capital investments aimed at strengthening the technical protection measures, - said the banker.

He did not specify in which period may be a new model for the protection of structural units of the bank.

As reported, in early 2009 significantly increased the attacks on the structural units Oschadbank for the purpose of robbery in connection with the fact that many branches and the bank is not equipped with proper protection.
