Goskomstat: Real wages in Ukraine in July fell by 10%

Real wages in Ukraine in July 2009 decreased by 10% compared with July 2008, while in July 2008 compared with July 2007 it increased by 6,2%, according to State Statistics Committee.

According to him, the nominal average wage in the country last month rose by 4,1% compared with July 2008 and by 1,4% compared with June 2009, amounting to 2008 UAH.

At the same time reduced the level of wages in construction (by 22,8%) and forestry (by 0,7%).
