J. Klyuchkovski explained that to receive the card for 60 days from the filing of a national statement to the Consulate. We hope that in somewhere in the second half of September and in October, citizens of Ukraine will be receiving these cards, - he added.

As reported previously Ukraine and Poland have ratified the agreement on small border traffic. This document came into force on 1 July this year.

The agreement on small frontier movement between Ukraine and Poland, distributed nearly 1.5 million citizens of Ukraine living in 1545 settlements. Under the agreement the right to regularly crossing the Ukrainian-Polish border are residents of the borderline zone in order to stay in the border zone of the other treaty parties on social, cultural or family reasons, as well as sound economic reasons which, in accordance with national legislation of the other contractual party, not a profitable activity.

Cross-Border area - a territory of Ukraine and Poland, which reaches 30 km and more from the border. Its residents - individuals who are resident in the border area at least three years, as evidenced by the relevant instrument.

Under the terms of a bilateral agreement with Poland, permit entitles the bearer to remain in the border zone (50 km) to 60 days from the date of crossing the border, but not more than 90 days in each period of six months from the date of the first to cross the border.
